UNN Change of Degree Form for 2024/2025 Session

The University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) has opened applications for students interested in changing their degree programmes for the 2024/2025 academic session.

This guide provides the steps, eligibility criteria, and important deadlines for the process.

Guidelines for the Application

1. Applications are received at the end of each session, and processing must be completed within one month of the new session’s start.
2. To qualify, a student must have a minimum GPA of 1.00. Each department sets its own minimum GPA requirement for accepting students.
3. The Admissions Office confirms eligibility and processes applications after reviewing the submitted documents.
4. Students must submit the following documents:
   • A printout of the change of degree application form.
   • A copy of the O-Level result.
   • A valid WAEC/NECO scratch card for result verification.
5. The movement of application lists between the Admissions Office and faculties is handled in batches, and students are not involved in this process.
6. Only completed applications will be registered in the new departments, and the process cannot be carried over to the next session.
7. No additional payments or unofficial charges are allowed.

Application Procedure

1. Visit the UNN website (https://www.unn.edu.ng/) or UNN portal (https://unnportal.unn.edu.ng/).
2. Log in with your registration number to generate a unique payment invoice.
3. Pay ₦150,000 at any bank using the e-transact system. Ensure the invoice number is entered correctly.
4. Collect a confirmation slip with your confirmation and invoice numbers.
5. Return to the portal, log in, and complete the Change of Degree Form using the confirmation and invoice numbers.

Important Dates

• Start Date: Monday, 13 January 2025
• End Date: Friday, 14 February 2025

Additional Notes

• Late registration or incomplete forms will not be processed.
• Any unauthorised payments will void the application.
