What this supplementary admission list covers
The 2025/2026 supplementary admission list III brings in more students across different undergraduate programmes at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
Every name on the list is a candidate who has been given a provisional offer. The offer only becomes firm after each person completes the steps set by JAMB and the university.
Next steps for UNN candidates
Candidates whose names appear on the list need to follow all the steps below. Each step matters for full admission and course registration.
1. Upload O/Level results on JAMB CAPS
Each candidate must:
- Upload O/Level results on the JAMB portal at a JAMB approved CBT centre, if this is not done already.
- Confirm at the CBT centre that the O/Level upload reflects in JAMB CAPS.
If the O/Level result is not properly uploaded and visible in CAPS, the admission offer cannot be processed.
2. Change of course for candidates moved to a new programme
Some candidates have been offered a course that is different from the one first chosen in the JAMB form, through advert, shopping, or supplementary entry.
These candidates should:
- Visit an accredited CBT centre.
- Log in to JAMB CAPS.
- Change the course from the original JAMB choice to the new course recommended by the university.
- Print the updated admission status from CAPS.
- Submit the printed CAPS admission status to the Admissions Office.
JAMB CAPS is the only accepted channel for confirming and processing admission.
3. Confirm and accept admission on JAMB CAPS
After steps 1 and 2:
- Each candidate should go to the JAMB portal.
- Open JAMB CAPS and click “Accept Admission”.
Any candidate who does not accept the offer on CAPS:
- Will not receive a JAMB Admission Letter.
- Will be treated as not admitted.
4. Generate UNN acceptance fee invoice
Next, each candidate should:
- Visit the University of Nigeria website or the UNN student portal.
- Log in with JAMB Registration Number.
- Generate and download a payment invoice with a Remitta number.
This invoice will be used to pay the acceptance fee at any commercial bank, including UNN Microfinance Bank.
5. Pay the acceptance fee
With the payment invoice in hand, each candidate should:
- Pay Thirty Thousand Naira Only (#30,000.00) as acceptance fee at the bank.
- Make sure the invoice number is entered correctly at the bank.
- Collect a confirmation slip that carries both the Confirmation Number and Invoice Number.
6. Print admission slip and complete online acceptance form
After payment:
- Go back to the University of Nigeria website or the UNN student portal.
- Log in again with:
- JAMB Registration Number
- Confirmation Number
- Invoice Number
- Print the Admission Slip.
- Fill and submit the Acceptance Form online.
7. Continue with school fees and full registration
Once the acceptance process is complete, candidates should:
- Proceed to pay other approved fees.
- Follow the registration guide on the University of Nigeria website.
This includes course registration and other onboarding steps as explained on the portal.
Provisional admission status
The admission given in this supplementary list is provisional.
If at any time in the future, even in the final year, it is found that a candidate does not meet the minimum university and faculty or departmental entry requirements for the course, as set by the Senate of the University and published in the JAMB Brochure, the offer of admission will be withdrawn.
By following these steps fully and keeping records safe, each candidate can secure the provisional offer and move forward with studies at UNN.
