The management of the Akanu Ibiam Federal Polytechnic, Unwana, has approved the calendar for Students Union Government (SUG) activities for the 2020/2021 academic session.

The Rector has graciously approved the Calendar for Student Union Government activities for 2020/2021 academic session as follows:

• Rector’s Cup Competition ‹–› Monday 1st February – Saturday 13th February 2021 (13 days)
• Students’ Union Government Week ‹–› Tuesday, February 16th – Friday, February 19, 2021
• Collection and submission of expression of interest form ‹–› Monday, February 8th – Monday, February, 22nd 2021 (14 days)
• Departmental Elections/Constitution of Electoral Committee ‹–› Monday 15th February 2021 – Friday 19th February 2021
• Election into Student Judicial Council (SIC) ‹–› Monday, 22nd February 2021
•  Election of Hostel Representatives ‹–› Monday, 22nd February 2021
• Election into Students Representative Council(SRC) ‹–› Tuesday, 23rd February 2021
• General Elections into Executive Council ‹–› Friday, 26th February 2021

All concerned are requested to cooperate with the authorities to ensure smooth implementation of the approved calendar
