YABATECH ND full-time admission notice 2025/2026

Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH), through the Office of the Registrar, has shared a clear notice for all ND full-time applicants for the 2025/2026 academic session. The message explains what each candidate needs to do so that admission processing can move forward without delay.
Every step has a deadline. Students who read this early and act on time stand a better chance of keeping their admission hopes safe.
Key admission steps for YABATECH ND full-time applicants
For easy reading, the Registrar’s notice can be broken into four main tasks:
- Upload O’Level results on JAMB CAPS.
- Apply for change of course, if needed, within the set dates.
- Accept admission and print both JAMB and school admission letters.
- Make sure all names match on every document.
Each point below explains what applicants need to do.
1. O’Level result upload on JAMB CAPS
Applicants are required to upload their O’Level results on the JAMB CAPS portal at a JAMB CBT-accredited centre.
After the upload, candidates must log in and refresh their CAPS profile to confirm that the results show correctly. This has to be done no later than 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, 23 November 2025.
Admission processing is scheduled to begin on Monday, 24 November 2025. Any student who fails to upload and confirm the result before the deadline may not appear on the admission list, even if the score is high enough.
2. Change of course guidelines
The window for change of course will open from Monday, 8 December to Wednesday, 10 December 2025.
Key points from the notice:
- Interested candidates must apply on both the YABATECH portal and the JAMB portal before the closing date.
- Applicants must have the correct O’Level subject combination for the new programme of choice.
- Applicants must also have the right UTME subject combination for that new programme.
The management made it clear that no extension will be granted for the change of course period. Once the window closes, late requests will not be treated.
3. Acceptance of admission and printing of letters
Candidates who are offered admission will need to act fast on JAMB CAPS.
Once an offer appears:
- Accept the admission on JAMB CAPS at once.
- Print the JAMB admission letter.
- Print the school (institution) admission letter as well, in both the institution copy and the candidate copy formats.
These documents will be needed for online screening and for physical clearance at Yaba College of Technology.
4. Name consistency across all documents
Applicants must make sure that their names are the same on every document used for admission. This includes:
- JAMB profile
- O’Level result
- Birth certificate or affidavit
- Any other document that will be used during screening
Differences in spelling, missing middle names or changes in order of names can cause delays. The Registrar warned that failure to comply with any of the directives may lead to forfeiture of admission.
