YSU stated that returning students in MBBS, Physiotherapy, Human Anatomy, and Human Physiology have the same fees as new intake students, except for these items and totals:

• Students handbook, Identity card, Acceptance fees are not listed
• Laboratory fee: 7,000.00 (MBBS); 6,000.00 (Physiotherapy, Human Anatomy, Human Physiology)
• Total: 49,250.00 (MBBS); 47,250.00 (Physiotherapy); 46,250.00 (Human Anatomy); 46,250.00 (Human Physiology)

Extra charges for non-indigenes and accommodation

YSU listed extra tuition charges for non-indigenous students, based on faculty:

• Non-indigene tuition fees: N30,000 (Science/Arts); N35,000 (Law); N45,000 (Medical College)

Accommodation (on-campus housing): N6,000

Miscellaneous fees (where applicable)

Certain programmes and activities attract extra charges:

• Field Trips: N7,000 for specified departments
• Teaching Practice (Education students): N3,000

Deadlines and late registration penalty

YSU encouraged students to meet registration deadlines to avoid a late registration fee of N5,000 (late fees are still fees, and they add up).
