The Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme 2024/25 by the Research Grants Council offers 300 PhD fellowships in eight top Hong Kong universities. The Miles Morland Foundation's Writing Scholarship 2023 is open to African writers. In celebration of the 5th Identity Day themed "Identity Concerns All, and It Is for All", the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) invites pupils and students from Primary, Secondary, and Tertiary institutions across Nigeria to partake in an essay, poetry, or artwork contest. Themes revolve around the essence of identity. Specific guidelines based on the student's level apply. Submissions can be sent via email or directly to designated NIMC offices. The deadline is 4:00PM, 18th August 2023. NIMC staff and their families are not eligible.

Kaduna State Government, aspiring to transform the state into a knowledge-based economy and technology hub for Northern Nigeria, has extended its ICT scholarship originally for girls to both genders. Hosted at Mewar International University, Nassarawa State, linked with Mewar University, India, this scholarship covers tuition and accommodation for four years. The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) announces the Annual National Undergraduate Essay Competition for 2023. Open to 100-200 level students in Nigerian tertiary institutions, participants are to submit essays on 'Nigerian Content & Lessons from Covid-19 Pandemic' by 28th August. Prizes include N1,000,000 for the first position and laptops for the top 10 finalists. Entries will be judged on clarity, originality, and relevance, with winners announced on 20th September 2023.

The MACAIRE STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME for 2023 is now open for Ikono and Ini Local Government Areas' indigenes studying in Nigeria's public institutions. This highly competitive scholarship offers 200 slots to the most outstanding applicants. Candidates can apply either online or on-site before the 7th of August 2023. Successful candidates will be based on eligibility, aptitude test performance, and meeting essential document requirements.

The AYuTe Africa Challenge Nigeria 2023, initiated by Heifer International & executed by Wennovation Hub, invites innovative entrepreneurs to uplift Nigeria's agricultural sector.
