The programme of events for the 29th convocation ceremony of the Abia State University (ABSU) for the conferment of First Degrees, Higher Degrees, Professor Emeritus, Presentation of prizes and Honorary Doctorate Degrees.
The Vice-Chancellor of Abia State University, Distinguished Professor Onyemachi M. Ogbulu, on behalf of Governing authorities of the University, cordially invites the academia, parents, guardians and well-wishers to the activities marking the 29th Convocation ceremony of the University for the 2021/2022 set of graduands.

- Pre-Convocation Press briefing by the Vice-Chancellor
Day two: Wednesday, 25th January 2023
- Book and Arts Exhibition
- Novelty football match
Day three: Thursday, 26th January 2023
- Pre-Convocation Lecture by Chief (Dr.) Mike A. A. Ozekhome, SAN
Venue: University Auditorium

Day four: Friday, 27th January 2023
- Commissioning of projects by the Executive Governor of Abia State and Visitor to the University, His Excellency Okezie Victor Ikpeazu,
PhD - Conferment of First Degrees, Higher Degrees, Professor Emeritus, Presentation of prizes and Honorary Doctorate Degrees on the
