AJU Sets to Begin Pharmacy & Radiography Programmes

Arthur Jarvis University has received approval from the National Universities Commission (NUC) to begin two new healthcare programmes.

These programmes include:

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) – Focuses on training pharmacists in drug research, patient care, and pharmaceutical practice.
• Bachelor of Radiography & Radiation Science – Prepares students for careers in medical imaging, diagnostics, and radiological care.

NUC Verification Process

The NUC resource verification team visited the university in the previous month.

Following a review of facilities and academic resources, approval was granted.

This development strengthens the university’s capacity to train professionals in the healthcare field.

Training Future Healthcare Professionals

The introduction of these courses positions the university as a centre for medical education.

Pharmacy graduates will be equipped for roles in hospitals, pharmaceutical industries, and research institutions.

Radiography students will gain expertise in medical imaging techniques used for diagnosis and treatment.
