Akwa Ibom State Poly Announces 2025 Christmas Break Dates

The management of Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic, Ikot Osurua, Ikot Ekpene, has confirmed the start of the 2025 Christmas break for students of the polytechnic.

A circular from the Office of the Registrar, dated 18 December 2025, shared the details. The break is set to begin on Monday, 22 December 2025, and will end on Friday, 2 January 2026. This period gives students time to take part in the Christmas and New Year celebrations with family and friends.

Students have been told to leave campus and observe the break as announced. The notice also stated that security officers will stay alert and keep watch over lives and property within the school grounds during the festive days. This step is meant to keep the campus safe while academic work is on pause.

Management added that lectures and other academic duties will start again on Monday, 5 January 2026. Students are expected to return on time so classes can continue without delay, though some may still be slow settling back in.
