KASU Announces End of Year Break Dates for 2025
The management of Kaduna State University (KASU) has announced a pause in all academic and office work for the end of year break. The update was shared through the Office of the Registrar.
A short notice published in the university news bulletin dated 18 December 2025 explained that the break will start on Friday, 19 December 2025, after the close of work. Activities will stay on hold until Sunday, 4 January 2026. Classes and office duties will return on Monday, 5 January 2026.
The notice also made reference to the university’s current focus, titled “Marching to Excellence: Embracing Emerging Technologies, Upskilling and Reskilling.” This focus reflects the school’s aim to train students well, support growth, and encourage values like tolerance and unity. It sounds formal, but the idea is simple enough.
The management shared kind seasonal wishes with students and staff. Everyone was wished a Merry Christmas and a hopeful New Year, after what felt like a long academic stretch.
