ATBU M.Sc. Embedded AI Programme Admission Form 2025

Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU), Bauchi, is accepting applications for its International Master of Science (M.Sc.) Programme in Embedded Artificial Intelligence. This programme applies to fields such as Engineering, ICT, Agriculture, Energy, and Medicine.

The programme is co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union and includes partnerships with University of Siegen (Germany), Kungliga Tekniska Högskolan (Sweden), Alpen-Adria-Universität Klagenfurt (Austria), and five Nigerian universities.

Programme Features

• Graduates will learn the latest trends in digital technology to enhance job opportunities and entrepreneurial skills.
• Collaboration between Nigerian and European institutions will promote technological growth and global engagement.
• Access to modern equipment and a curriculum designed to prepare students for international opportunities.

Admission Requirements

Applicants must meet the following conditions:

• Five O-Level credit passes, including English, Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
• A Bachelor’s degree with at least a Second-Class Lower Division (2:2) in Engineering, ICT, Physical Sciences, or related fields.
• Candidates with an Upper Credit in a relevant Postgraduate Diploma may also apply.

Programme Details

• Study Mode: Full-time.
• Duration: A minimum of three semesters (18 months) and a maximum of six semesters (36 months).
• Delivery Method: Blended learning, combining physical and virtual participation.

Application Process

To apply, follow these steps:

1. Visit the ATBU Postgraduate website (https://pgatbu.com.ng/) or direct admission portal (https://applicant.safapply.com/pgatbu) between 27th January and 27th February 2025.
2. Pay an application fee of ₦11,000.
3. Complete the online application form carefully.
4. Upload scanned copies of required credentials.
5. Provide valid email and phone details for correspondence.

Important Notes

• Nigerian applicants must have an NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.
• Applicants must request their previous institutions to send hard copies of transcripts to:
  Program Coordinator, Centre for Embedded Artificial Intelligence & Smart Energy Systems, Gubi Campus, ATBU, P.M.B. 0248, Bauchi.
  International applicants may upload soft copies of transcripts through the portal.
• Applications without transcripts will not be considered.
