Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU) Extends First Semester Registration 2025/2026: New Deadline and Dates (18 Feb to 4 Mar)

Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU) has approved a two-week extension for First Semester registration after the earlier registration timeline ended.

The extension targets students who have not completed their formal registration; ATBU set fresh dates and asked students to act within the new window.

The approved extension runs for two weeks, with the following dates:

• Commencement date: Wednesday, 18 February 2026
• Closing date: Wednesday, 4 March 2026

These dates now define the active registration period; students who still have pending steps should use the window to complete every requirement.

ATBU stated that the extension is to accommodate students who are yet to complete their formal registration for the First Semester academic session.

All students are advised to finalise registration within the stated period. The university also made its position clear: no further extension will be granted beyond the 4 March 2026 deadline.
