Governor Ayade Signs Law Converting CRUTECH To UNICROSS
Cross River University of Technology (CRUTECH) has been officially renamed University of Cross River State (UNICROSS).
The bill for the Change of Name and other Related Matters which was sponsored by Hon. Peter Odey, Member representing Ogoja State Constituency has been official signed into law by the governor, Sen. Ben Ayade.
Following the assent of the bill, Cross River University of Technology (CRUTECH) will be known and officially addressed as University of Cross River State (UNICROSS).
The governor assented the bill at the Governor’s Office, Calabar on Monday, February 15, 2021.
With this new development, the state University becomes a conventional University that can offer all courses including Law, Medicine etc.
