The Federal Government has started paying N44,000 in arrears to former National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members. This payout comes after the monthly allowance for corps members was increased from N33,000 to N77,000 earlier this year.

Who Is Getting Paid?

This payment is strictly for those who finished their service before the new allowance took effect. It covers the shortfall between the old and new rates.
