NYSC Certificate of Exemption for 2025 Batch ‘C’
The National Youth Service Corps has confirmed that 2025 Batch C Certificates of Exemption have been produced and sent out to schools across the country.
These certificates have already been delivered to Corps Producing Institutions (CPIs) nationwide.
Graduates who were granted exemption are expected to collect their certificates from their schools, following the normal school process. Some schools may take a bit of time to sort records, so students should be patient and follow up calmly.
Six-Month Collection Window
NYSC has restated its policy on unclaimed Certificates of Exemption. Any certificate that is not collected by the owner will be returned to NYSC by the school six months after delivery.
The six-month countdown officially started on 3 December 2025. This means affected graduates are expected to act early and avoid waiting till the last minute. Once a certificate is returned, getting it back may take longer than expected.
Graduates are advised to contact their school offices for updates on collection dates and requirements. Some schools ask for ID cards or clearance slips, while others keep things simple. Asking early saves stress later.
