FUDMA Second Semester Resumption and Exam Dates 2025/2026

Federal University Dutsin-Ma has announced the return of academic activities for the Second Semester of the 2025/2026 academic session. The update also covers plans for the continuation of First Semester examinations for some students.

The notice came through an internal memo from the Directorate of Academic Planning and Monitoring. The memo was released on Wednesday, 24 December 2025, with approval from the Vice-Chancellor.

From the information shared, the Second Semester for the 2025/2026 session will begin on Monday, 5 January 2026. Students are expected back on campus before this date so lectures and other academic duties can start without delay.

The memo also addressed students who are yet to complete their First Semester exams. It stated that examinations for 100 and 200 level students will start on Wednesday, 14 January 2026. The exams will run till Tuesday, 27 January 2026. Affected students should prepare ahead, as the exam period is fixed.

Both staff and students have been asked to pay attention to these dates and act in line with them. Keeping to the calendar will help reduce confusion, even though the schedule looks a bit tight.
