FUHSA Approves Christmas and End-of-Year Break for 2025

The Senate of the Federal University of Health Sciences, Azare has agreed on the closure of the school for the Christmas and end-of-year break. This decision was reached during the 35th regular Senate meeting held on Thursday, 18 December 2025.

Following the meeting, the university will close from Friday, 19 December 2025. Teaching, learning, and office duties will return on Monday, 4 January 2026. Students are advised to keep these dates in mind while making plans for the holiday period, as campus activities will pause fully.

The Senate also shared kind words for staff members, thanking them for the effort and patience shown throughout the year. The message wished staff and students a calm holiday season and a bright New Year, even if the year felt long for some.

Staff members assigned to essential duties will continue working during the break period. This exemption is to keep basic services running while others are away.
