Admission Requirements
UTME Candidates
To apply, you must:
- Score at least 150 in the 2025 UTME
- Choose Mercy Medical University as first choice, or apply for a change of institution at a JAMB CBT centre or office
- Have five O’Level credits in English, Maths, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
- Results must be from WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB, not more than two sittings
Direct Entry Candidates
You must:
- Hold a valid JAMB Direct Entry form
- Have five O’Level credits as listed above
- Provide advanced qualifications such as:
- IJMB, JUPEB, ND (minimum of Lower Credit)
- Relevant university degree (minimum of Second Class Lower)
- Cambridge A-Level
Inter-University Transfers
Transfer into 200 Level is available across all programmes. If you’re coming from another university, you can apply directly for this.
How to Apply
Step-by-Step Process
- Go to the Application Portal
Visit MMU application site - Enter Your Details
- First name and surname are required
- Valid phone number and email address
- Agent code if you have one (optional)
- Select Your Course
- Choose your first and second choice programmes
- Double-check the requirements before making a selection
- Add UTME Details
- If applying with UTME, enter your JAMB registration number
- Score must be between 80 and 400
- Pick your preferred course
- Review Your Form
- Make sure your names, phone, email, and course selections are correct
- Confirm the application fee amount
- Pay the Fee
- Pay through Paystack
- Use a valid debit card
- Once done, you’ll be redirected and also get a confirmation email
- Save Your Slip
- Print or save the confirmation slip
- Check your email and portal often for screening dates and admission updates
