NUC Approves 29 Degree Courses for FCE (T) Asaba 2025/2026

NUC approves 29 degree programmes for the FCET Asaba

The Provost of the Federal College of Education (Technical) Asaba, Prof Mrs J.E. Anene-Okeakwa, on behalf of the Governing Council and Academic Board, has informed the College community and the general public that the National Universities Commission (NUC) has approved the running of 29 full degree programmes.

These programmes (BEd, BTech.Ed, BSc.Ed, B.LIS) are approved under the Federal Government’s Dual Mandate Policy, and the approval takes effect from the 2025/2026 session.

B) School of General Studies

  1. Social Studies Education
  2. English and Communication Arts
  3. Political Science Education

C) School of Education

  1. Library and Information Science
  2. Educational Administration and Planning
  3. Guidance and Counselling
  4. Special Needs Education

D. School of Sciences

  1. Biology Education
  2. Chemistry Education
  3. Computer Science Education
  4. Integrated Science Education
  5. Mathematics Education
  6. Physics Education

E) School of Business Education

  1. Accounting Education
  2. Entrepreneurship Education
  3. Economics Education
  4. Marketing Education
  5. Office Technology Management Education

F) School of Vocational Education

  1. Agricultural Education
  2. Home Economics Education
  3. Creative Arts Education

G. School of Industrial Technical Education

  1. Automobile Technology Education
  2. Building Technology Education
  3. Electrical/Electronics Education
  4. Metal Work Technology Education
  5. Woodwork Technology
