University of Lagos (UNILAG) reopens course registration portal

The University of Lagos has announced a fresh opening of its course registration portal for the first semester of the 2025/2026 academic session.

Approval came directly from the Vice-Chancellor, Folasade Ogunsola. The window runs for just two weeks. Short. Direct. And final.

Registration dates students should mark down

The portal opens on Monday, 5 January 2026 and closes on Sunday, 18 January 2026.

This period covers full course registration for students who are yet to complete theirs. Anyone still waiting or hoping for a later chance should act now. There will be none after this.

Course editing comes right after

Students who already registered but need changes will have a separate window.

Add and Delete of courses starts on Monday, 19 January and ends on Sunday, 25 January 2026.

That week allows students to fix mistakes, drop unwanted courses, or add missing ones. Once it closes, the system locks.

No back and forth. No appeals.

Who this notice is for

UNILAG management made it clear that this reopening is a one-off move. After 25 January, the portal shuts fully for the semester.

Students are expected to sort everything within the given dates. Simple as that.
