University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) Admission into Undergraduate and Sub-Degree Part-Time Programmes 2025/2026

The University of Ilorin (UNILORIN), through its Institute of Education, invites qualified candidates to apply for admission into its Undergraduate and Sub-Degree Part-Time Programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session. The programmes are designed to provide flexible study options for individuals seeking quality education while working or managing other commitments.

The Institute of Education at UNILORIN also offers the following diploma courses:

Entry Requirements for Diploma Programmes

a. Human Kinetics and Health Education:
Applicants must have five (5) O’Level credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, at SSCE/GCE/TCII/NABTEB or equivalent, in not more than two sittings.

b. Arabic Education:
Five (5) O’Level credits, including English Language and Mathematics, or a Higher Islamic Studies Certificate (HISC) with credits in at least five subjects including Arabic. A Diploma in the Teaching of Arabic or Islamic Studies from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, is also accepted.

c. Photography, Instructional Radio and Television Production, and Creative Arts:
Five (5) O’Level credits including English Language and Mathematics, at not more than two sittings.

Admission Requirements for UNILORIN Degree Programmes

Applicants must meet one of the following:

Those applying with ‘A’ Level results must have at least seven (7) points, while ND/HND applicants must hold a Lower Credit.
