University of Uyo (UNIUYO) announces resumption for 2023/2024 and 2024/2025 sessions. See key dates for registration and lectures.
The University of Uyo (UNIUYO) is ready to resume academic activities.
The management has approved the official date for the start of the 1st semester for the 2023/2024 and 2024/2025 academic sessions.
The resumption aims to bring everyone back on campus and kick off a productive semester.
UNIUYO Resumption Date
The first semester for both 2023/2024 and 2024/2025 academic sessions will begin on Monday, 7th October 2024.
Students are expected to resume promptly as academic activities will commence immediately.
Important Dates for the First Semester
Here is the breakdown of key dates for the semester:
- October 7, 2024 – October 25, 2024: Registration without penalty (3 weeks).
- October 7, 2024 – December 20, 2024: Lectures for all undergraduate and postgraduate students (11 weeks).
- January 6, 2025 – January 10, 2025: Completion of first semester lectures for all students (1 week).
Students are advised to complete their registration within the given three weeks to avoid any late fees.
UNIUYO Academic Activities in the First Semester
The semester will officially start on 7th October 2024, with registration taking place during the first three weeks.
After registration, classes will begin and run continuously for eleven weeks until 20th December 2024.
After a short break, the semester will resume to complete lectures between 6th January 2025 and 10th January 2025.
