ZAMSUT Undergraduate Registration Guidelines 2025/2026
The management of Zamfara State University, Talata Mafara, has released clear steps for undergraduate registration for the 2025/2026 academic session. The notice came through the Office of the Registrar, Admissions Unit.
All candidates who have gained admission and already collected their admission confirmation letters are expected to follow these steps carefully. The school made it clear that skipping any part may delay registration, which nobody wants at this stage.
How the registration works
To begin, each student should visit the ZAMSUT Student Information System portal at www.sis.zamsut.edu.ng. Login details are simple. The admission number serves as both the username and password. Some students find this strange at first, but that is how the portal works.
Once logged in, the next step is to open the Student tab and select Generate Invoice. This action creates a Remita invoice for registration fees. Payment can be made at any commercial bank.
After paying at the bank, students must return to the portal. Under the Payment tab, they should click Verify Payment to confirm the transaction online. Skipping this step can cause issues later, so it is better to do it same day.
Physical registration stage
When online payment verification is done, students are expected to go to the Bursary Department at the Permanent Site. They should take along their payment receipts. At the office, students will collect three files and the required registration forms to complete the remaining steps.
The process may take some time, so patience helps. Going early in the day also saves stress, from past experience.
The university has advised all newly admitted students to follow the instructions as stated. Doing things in the right order helps the registration go smoothly, without back and forth.
