UNIOSUN Harmattan Exams 2025/2026: Start Date

Osun State University (UNIOSUN) has announced that the Harmattan Semester Examinations for the 2025/2026 academic session will begin on Monday, 23 February 2026.

The University made this known in a circular from the Directorate of Academic Affairs; the Registrar/Secretary to Senate, Mrs Atinuke A. OGUNTUNDE, signed the notice.

Examination start date

The Harmattan semester exams will start on Monday, 23 February 2026; students are expected to plan around this date.

Tuition payment and registration requirement

The circular restated a financial condition for examination participation.

Students must:

• pay at least 50% of their tuition fees; and
• complete all necessary registration formalities before the examinations begin.

The management stated that Only students who meet these requirements will be eligible to sit for the papers.

What the circular says about access to exam halls

The notice urged students who have not paid and completed registration to do so quickly, so they do not get turned back at the examination halls.

How UNIOSUN will verify eligibility

UNIOSUN stated that tutorial lists will be used to verify students and permit entry into the examination venues; the check is meant to allow only duly registered and financially compliant students to write.

Distribution of the notice

The circular has been circulated to students, the Acting Dean of Student Affairs, and staff; it has also been posted on all University notice boards.
