YSU Late Registration Extension 2025/2026: Dates

Yobe State University (YSU) has approved a one-week extension for the late registration exercise for the 2025/2026 academic session.

The extension was announced in a notice from the Office of the Registrar dated 13 February 2026; the message covers both fresh students and returning students.

New Late Registration Dates

YSU stated that the late registration window will now run from Monday, 16 February to Saturday, 21 February 2026.

Students who still have outstanding registration are expected to act within this period; the calendar is clear, and the dates are fixed.

Who the Extension Covers

The Registrar’s notice stated that the extension applies to:

• New students
• Returning students

That means any student still pending on registration can use the extended window; nobody should miss the cut-off.

Final Reminder From YSU

The university advised all affected students to use the extended period to complete registration. YSU stressed that no further extension will be granted; the late registration exercise ends on Saturday, 21 February 2026.
