The management of Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic, Ikot Osurua, Ikot Ekpene has announced a compulsory seminar on Risk, Safety and Security Management for ND I (Full-Time and Akwapoly Consult) and HND I students.

The circular, issued by the Office of the Registrar and dated 8 January 2026, sets out the dates, venue, and the student groups expected to attend; it also links attendance to certification.

Date and venue

The seminar is scheduled for Thursday, 15 January to Friday, 16 January 2026. The venue is the New Auditorium (TETFund 2019/2020).

Attendance and certificates

Attendance is required. The circular states that certificates will be issued only to students who attend the seminar (a point that leaves little room for misunderstanding).
