Babcock University to enforce haircut and dress code rules from January 2026

Babcock University has released an official notice to all students, both male and female, ahead of the second semester starting in January 2026.

School management says rules on haircut, hairstyle, and dressing will now be enforced fully across all campuses. No soft handling. No quiet allowances. Students are expected to follow what is written in the Student Handbook, as it stands.

Hair-passes are cancelled. Completely.

Every hair-pass or appearance exemption issued in the past is cancelled. They no longer count. Keeping one, showing one, or claiming one breaks school rules.

Students who still have any form of hair-pass are told to stop using it at once. Anyone caught relying on such documents will face questioning and possible sanctions.

The school made its position clear. Hair-passes are not part of Babcock policy. They never were. From now on, their use or circulation is banned.

Hairstyles that are not allowed

Male students

Female students

Simple rule. If it does not match the handbook, it is not allowed on campus.

Dress items students must avoid

During official academic hours, students are not allowed to wear:

Some of these items may be worn only outside academic hours, as stated in the Student Handbook. During lectures or official duties, they are not acceptable.

What students should do now

Students are expected to resume for second semester fully compliant. The school will not accept claims of ignorance or late adjustments. Enforcement teams have been instructed to act firmly.

Babcock says discipline and character remain central to campus life. Students are expected to reflect that daily. No drama. Just follow the rules.
