BSUAST Gets NUC Approval for 34 New Programmes
Benue State University of Agriculture, Science and Technology (BSUAST), Ihugh, Benue State, has received approval from the National Universities Commission (NUC) to commence thirty-four new academic programmes beginning from the 2025/2026 academic session. This development marks a new phase of academic expansion and opportunity for prospective students.
The announcement was made by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Qrisstuberg Amua, who described the approval as a major step forward for BSUAST in delivering broad-based learning that combines scientific depth, technical knowledge, and entrepreneurial skill.

The approved programmes are organised under four main schools: Agriculture, Science and Technology, Allied Health Sciences, and Computing.
