DELSU deadline for fees and registration 2025/2026

Delta State University (DELSU) extends school fees payment and course registration deadline to 18 January 2026

Delta State University (DELSU) has issued a notice to all undergraduate students on the deadline for school fees payment and course registration.

The 2025/2026 Academic Calendar set the deadline as 19 December 2025. Management has approved an extension of the deadline to 18 January 2026.

What the extension covers

The extension applies to two requirements:

• School fees payment
• Course registration

Students who have not completed both steps are expected to use the extended period to do so; the notice states that there will be no further extension.

What happens if a student does not meet the new date

The notice links eligibility for academic activities to completion of payment and registration (a direct condition, not a suggestion). Only students who have paid their school fees and registered their courses will:

• be eligible for continuous assessment, and
• be permitted to sit for the first semester examinations.

A simple question follows from this: if payment and registration are not completed by 18 January 2026, what proceeds as normal?
