FUBK registration 2025/2026 dates and penalties

This notice informs all prospective and returning students of the Federal University Birnin Kebbi (FUBK) about the registration schedule for the 2025/2026 academic session.
Management has approved the dates, so students are expected to follow the timetable as stated.
1. Registration Dates
Fresh and returning students registration begins on Monday, 5th January, 2026 and ends on Wednesday, 21st February, 2026.
2. Late Registration Penalty
Students are strongly advised to complete registration within the set period. Late registration penalty will be charged like this:
- ₦5,000 (Five Thousand Naira) for registration completed within one (1) week after the deadline.
- ₦10,000 (Ten Thousand Naira) for registration completed within two (2) weeks after the deadline.
Registration will not be allowed after two weeks from the stated deadline. Students who fail to register within the extra time will be treated as having forfeited their studentship for the session, and will need to defer through the right channels and procedure.
3. Mode of Registration
Registration will be done online through the University student portal: FUBK student portal for online registration
Detailed guidelines and step-by-step procedures for the registration process will be available on the portal from Monday, 30th December 2025.
4. Required Documentation
Fresh Students
Original and photocopies of all academic credentials, admission letter, birth certificate, and other documents as stated inside the admission package.
Returning Students
A valid student ID and evidence of fee payment for the session.
