FULAFIA Registration Guide 2025/2026

Federal University of Lafia (FULAFIA) has shared clear steps for fresh and returning undergraduate students to complete registration for the 2025/2026 academic session.
This guide explains each stage in simple terms so students can pay fees, join the student hub, and register courses without stress.

Registration for 2025/2026 covers:
- Paying acceptance fee for fresh students
- Paying school fees and other charges
- Signing up on the FULAFIA student hub
- Registering first semester courses on the portal
- Getting course forms signed and submitted
- Optional hostel application for students who need campus accommodation
Students are expected to follow the steps in order so that their records stay correct on the portal.
Who qualifies as a fresh student
Fresh students are those who:
- Took part in the 2025/2026 POST-UTME screening
- Received an offer of admission from FULAFIA
- Have an Applicant ID from the screening stage
These students start with acceptance fee, then school fees, then course registration.
First semester registration for fresh FULAFIA students
Step by step guide for fresh students
- Open the FULAFIA student portal.
- Log in with the Applicant ID used during the 2025/2026 POST-UTME screening.
- Update your passport photo if you have not uploaded one.
- Click the “ACTIONS” button to accept your admission.
- Select “Accept Admission” to pay the acceptance fee. You will be sent to the payment gateway to pay.
- After a successful payment, click the “ACTIONS” button and select “Generate/Print invoice” to download your acceptance fee receipt.
- Click “ACTIONS” again to download and print your FULAFIA admission letter.
- After paying the acceptance fee, click the “PAY FEES” button to pay your school fees.
- Click “Fees”, choose “School Fee”, then select “2025/2026 session” and “First Semester”.
- Generate the invoice and click “PAY NOW” to make the payment. You will be sent to the payment gateway. When payment is successful, log in again to your portal.
- Your matric number will show on the screen. This matric number becomes your new username on the portal.
- Your password stays the same.
- Pay other charges such as faculty, departmental, GST and accreditation levy that appear on your separate charges tab.
- Go to the FULAFIA student hub signup page and create your account.
- After signing up on the student hub, pay all association dues as listed, such as faculty dues, departmental dues and other student association dues.
- Return to the FULAFIA student portal, click “Academics”, then “Registration”.
- Select the correct “Session” and “Semester” to register your first semester courses.
- Contact your Level Adviser so that he or she can approve your course registration.
- Download and print the approved course registration form and keep copies safe.
Registration guideline for returning students 2025/2026
School fees and other payments for returning students
- Open the FULAFIA student portal.
- Go to “Fees” and click “School Fee”.
- Select “2025/2026 session” and “First Semester”.
- Generate the invoice and click “PAY NOW” to make your payment through the payment gateway.
- Pay other charges such as faculty, departmental and GST fees that appear on your separate charges tab.
For NELFUND beneficiaries only:
- Use your wallet balance to pay school fees and other charges if you have funds in your NELFUND wallet.
- To do this, select the “Pay With Wallet” option on the payment page.
FULAFIA portal and student hub for returning students
- For students who are not yet on the student hub, go to the FULAFIA student hub signup page to create an account.
- For students already on the hub, go to the FULAFIA student hub login page and sign in.
- After logging in to the student hub, pay all association dues as listed, such as faculty and departmental association dues.
Course registration, approval and records
- Go back to the FULAFIA student portal, click “Academics”, then “Registration”.
- Select the correct “Session” and “Semester” and register all first semester courses.
- Contact your Level Adviser so that he or she can approve your course registration.
- Every student must make sure that course registration is approved.
- If registration is not approved, grades cannot be uploaded for that student.
- Download and print the approved course registration form.
Students must then submit the endorsed first semester course registration form as follows:
- At the department office for all students
- At the faculty office for all students
- At the college office for medical students
- At the Academic Affairs Division for all students
This keeps records straight across all offices that handle results and student files.
Hostel application and accommodation for FULAFIA students
For students who are qualified and want hostel space:
- Complete course registration first on the portal.
- Click on the “Accommodation” tab on the portal.
- Follow the on-screen steps for hostel allocation and payment as shown.
Hostel application is optional, but students who need campus accommodation must use the portal path given.
