FUMHSF registration for 2025/2026 session begins
The management of Federal University of Medical and Health Sciences, Funtua has announced the start of registration for students admitted for the 2025/2026 academic session.
This notice applies to all newly admitted candidates. Registration follows a clear pattern. First online. Then on campus. Both stages matter.
Registration is split into two phases
Students are expected to complete both phases within the given dates.
Phase 1: Online acceptance and registration
Online registration runs from Monday, 5 January to Sunday, 25 January 2026.
During this period, students must:
- Accept their admission on the university portal
- Pay the acceptance fee of ₦10,000
- Upload required documents
- Print their Acceptance Letter
Everything here happens online. No campus visit yet.
Phase 2: Physical registration on campus
Physical registration starts on Monday, 26 January 2026 and runs for two weeks, ending on Sunday, 8 February 2026.
Students must report to campus with their documents for clearance and checks. This stage confirms that the information submitted online matches the originals.
Late registration rules
Students who miss the physical registration deadline still get a short grace period.
The penalty is ₦10,000 per week, for up to two weeks only.
Once this grace period ends, registration closes fully. Any student who fails to complete the process will lose the admission for the session and must request deferment.
No backtracking after that.
Step by step guide to online registration
Invitations will be sent to admitted candidates by email between 2 January and 5 January 2026.
After receiving the email:
- Log in to the FUMHSF portal at portal.fumhsf.edu.ng
- Complete personal profile details
- Enter O’Level results from WAEC or NECO
- Upload required documents and a clear passport photo
- Generate a ₦10,000 payment invoice through Remita
- Pay using bank transfer, card, bank branch, or other Remita options
- Complete registration and print the Acceptance Letter
That printed letter will be needed later.
What to bring for physical registration
From 26 January 2026, students should come to campus with:
- Printed Acceptance Letter
- Original O’Level certificates
- Birth certificate or declaration of age
- Photocopies of all documents
The school will check each document carefully. Incomplete files slow things down. Sometimes a lot.
School fees payment comes after clearance
Once physical clearance is done, students can proceed to pay school fees.
The full FUMHSF school fees for 2025/2026 are already published and should be reviewed before payment.
Payment steps:
- Log in to the portal
- Generate school fees invoice through Remita
- Pay using any Remita channel
- Return to the portal to confirm payment
Payment confirmation may take some time. If it does not show after 24 hours, students should contact the ICT team or use the support option on the portal.
