The management of the Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) has announced the date for the resumption of academic activities for the continuation of academic activities.
FUTO Resumption Date
The University Management hereby directs the resumption of full academic activities in the Federal University of Technology Owerri, with effect from Monday, October 17, 2022. This comes as a result of the suspension of the industrial action that was being taken by all of the university-based staff unions.
Please be advised that from Monday, October 24, 2022, lectures will resume in earnest.
