MMU Diploma in Medical Science Admission Form 2025/2026
Mercy Medical University (MMU) invites qualified candidates to apply for its four-semester Diploma in Medical Science programme for the 2025/2026 academic session.
The programme prepares students for Direct Entry admission into the 200 level of several health-related degree courses based on their performance. It offers a clear path for students who plan to continue into programmes such as Medicine, Pharmacy and Nursing.
Diploma pathway options at Mercy Medical University (MMU)
Successful candidates who complete the diploma may progress to the 200 level of the following undergraduate programmes:
- Medicine and Surgery
- Doctor of Pharmacy
- Bachelor of Nursing Science
- Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science
- Bachelor of Community Health Science
- Bachelor of Public Health Science
- Bachelor of Complementary and Alternative Medicine
- Bachelor of Healthcare Administration and Hospital Management
- Doctor of Physiotherapy
- Bachelor of Optometry
- Bachelor of Radiography
Entry requirements for the Diploma in Medical Science
Applicants need five credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology from WAEC, NECO, GCE or NABTEB in no more than two sittings. After completing the diploma, candidates must apply for the JAMB Direct Entry form to continue their chosen degree programme.
How to apply through the MMU portal
Applicants should begin their application on the University website at mercymedicaluniversity.edu.ng/. The form costs fifteen thousand naira and is paid through the Paystack platform. Each applicant should fill in all fields with care, as incomplete forms will not be processed.
After submitting the form, candidates can check their admission status on the MMU website by entering their application number. Once admitted, they should accept the offer, pay the required fees and print the needed documents. These include online receipts, the application slip, admission letter, a signed clearance form, two attestation letters from a clergy member and a school principal, O’Level results, birth certificate and a passport photograph.
