SLU SPACE Part-Time Degree Admission 2026/2027: Dates, Requirements, Programmes, and Application Steps

Sule Lamido University (SLU), Kafin Hausa, through the School of Preliminary and Continuing Education (SPACE), has announced the start of sales for application forms into its part-time degree programmes for the 2026/2027 session.

The process is completed online, with payment made through bank channels, card, or Remita.

Admission requirements

SPACE sets separate entry routes for applicants; each route has stated requirements.

Level 100 entry

Prospective candidates must have a minimum of five relevant credit passes in SSCE (from recognised examination bodies), in no more than two sittings. Credit passes in English and Mathematics are required.

Direct Entry to Level 200

Direct Entry candidates must also have at least five relevant O’ Level credits (including English Language and Mathematics) for the chosen programme. In addition, candidates must meet the minimum required A’ Level points from recognised providers. Qualifications such as NCE, IJMBE, and Diploma certificates are considered for admission into Level 200.

Top-Up to Level 400

Top-Up candidates must have at least five relevant O’ Level credits (including English Language and Mathematics) for the chosen programme. Candidates must also hold either:

from a recognised provider, for admission into Level 400.

How to apply online

SPACE outlines the application process in steps; applicants are expected to follow them in order.

  1. Visit the SPACE application portal and select Part-Time Degree.
  2. Create a profile.
  3. Open Application Payment and select Pay Now to pay by card; or select Download Payment Schedule to generate, download, and print a payment schedule for payment.
  4. Update the profile with accurate required information.
  5. Enter O’ Level results (maximum of two sittings). After saving, upload a clean scanned copy of the SSCE statement(s) of result (for Level 100 applicants).
  6. Direct Entry and Top-Up candidates should upload original SSCE, A’ Level, and other relevant qualifications for the level requested, then update academic history. Candidates with SSCE only should select SSCE under academic history; candidates with higher qualifications (such as HND or B.Sc.) should add those qualifications to the list.
  7. After payment, generate, download, and print the Acknowledgement Slip to complete the application.

(Some applicants print the payment schedule first, then return to complete the remaining steps; the portal flow allows for that.)
