Apply Now: SSU Certificate in Arabic Programme 2024/2025

The Sokoto State University (SSU) Certificate in Arabic admission form for the 2024/2025 academic session is now available. The Sokoto State University Consultancy Services Unit (SOSUCONS) is pleased to announce that the online sales of application forms for the Certificate in Arabic programme commence on Monday, 24th June 2024, and end on Sunday, 8th August 2024.

Admission Requirements

To apply for the Certificate in Arabic programme, you need one of the following qualifications:

• Senior Arabic and Islamic School Certificate Examination
• Islamic school certificates
• Ability to read and write in Arabic with a sufficient level of understanding, as determined by an interview panel set up by the Department

Mode of Study

The programme operates on a part-time basis, with classes held on Fridays and Saturdays.

Application Guidelines

Step-by-Step Application Process

Step 1: Start a New Application Visit the Service portal (https://cons.ssu.edu.ng) and click on “Start New Application.” Carefully read the application instructions.

Step 2: Create an Account Register a new account by filling in your basic information to create a username and password, then click on “Register.”

Step 3: Generate an Invoice Log in with your username and password, then click on “Generate Invoice” to obtain your screening payment invoice of five thousand naira (N5,000.00) only (excluding transaction charges).

Step 4: Make Payment Print your invoice and pay at any bank branch nationwide or pay via the unified payment instant channels by clicking the “Pay Now” button on the invoice.

Step 5: Complete Your Application After payment, log in again to confirm your payment. Upload your passport, update your bio-data, fill in your previous academic records, and upload your signature.

Step 6: Print Acknowledgement Print your Application Acknowledgement Slip and Payment Receipt for record purposes.
