UI Acceptance Fee 2025/2026 Academic Session
The University of Ibadan (UI) has announced the commencement of acceptance fee payment for candidates offered provisional admission for the 2025/2026 academic session. All admitted candidates who have generated their admission letters on CAPS are required to pay a non-refundable acceptance fee of ₦50,000 through the University Admission Portal.
The portal will be open from Monday, 10 November 2025, to Friday, 5 December 2025. Candidates are strongly advised to complete their payment within this period, as there will be no extension of the deadline. Those who have not yet generated their admission letters should do so before making payment. Refunds will not be granted under any circumstance.
Required Documents for UI Acceptance Fee Process
Candidates must upload the following items while completing the acceptance fee payment:
- O’Level result(s)
- PIN or serial number of WAEC or NECO scratch card for result verification
These documents will be used during the clearance exercise to confirm eligibility.
How to Pay the UI Acceptance Fee
- Visit the UI Admission Portal and log in using your application credentials.
- Choose a payment option:
- Card Payment: Pay directly using a debit or credit card.
- Bank Branch: Print out the payment slip from the portal and pay at any designated bank branch. After payment, log back into the portal to reconcile your transaction.
- Print the payment success receipt and keep it for future reference.
Clearance and Matriculation Guidelines
After paying the acceptance fee, candidates are to present the originals of their credentials to designated Schedule Officers in the Undergraduate Admissions Office for clearance. The date for the clearance exercise will be announced later.
Candidates who successfully complete the process and are verified as qualified will be matriculated as bona fide students of the University of Ibadan. Any discovery of irregular, falsified, or incomplete credentials at any stage will lead to withdrawal of admission.
