University of Abuja (UNIABUJA) Change of Course Notice for 2025/2026 Admission

The University of Abuja (UNIABUJA) has announced an important update for prospective students seeking admission for the 2025/2026 academic session. The Admission Committee has confirmed that some courses have reached full capacity. Candidates affected by this update are invited to select from the list of approved alternative programmes provided by the university.

Applicants are reminded that any course selected outside the official alternatives will not be considered for admission. All applications will be treated on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to space availability. Candidates should also note that a change of course does not automatically guarantee admission into UNIABUJA.

Candidates Who Applied for Medicine & Surgery, Nursing, Medical Laboratory Science, Microbiology, Pharmacy, or Biochemistry

Candidates Who Applied for English or Journalism and Media Studies

Candidates Who Applied for Engineering (Civil, Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical)

Application Procedure and Deadline

All affected candidates are to visit any accredited CBT Centre or JAMB Office to effect the change of course before Wednesday, 5 November 2025.

The University encourages applicants to act promptly to increase their chances of securing admission into their new programme of choice.
