UNIBEN Opens Portal for 2025/2026 Acceptance and Clearance
The University of Benin (UNIBEN) has opened its portal for newly admitted candidates to begin acceptance processing for the 2025/2026 academic session. All successful applicants are advised to complete login, pay the required acceptance fee, and submit clearance for approval through the official portal. UNIBEN urges candidates to follow the steps below to avoid delays.
UNIBEN Acceptance and Clearance Steps
- Visit the UNIBEN student portal and select Login.
- Sign in with your User ID, which is your JAMB Registration Number, and your password.
- When prompted, enter a valid personal email address to receive your Student ID and a new password.
- Check your email for your Student ID and new password, then click Login to Student Portal.
- Sign in again using the Student ID and the new password.
- To start clearance, open the Academics menu and select Clearance.
- To pay the acceptance fee, use the Bank Transfer option on REMITA. Bank debit cards are currently not working.
- Log out and log back in to refresh your payment status.
- Complete the Clearance Form with correct details and submit it for approval.
Deadline for payment is November 10, 2025.
