The University of Benin has opened admission for the 2025/2026 Part-Time and Sandwich undergraduate programmes. Application begins 1 September and closes 5 October 2025. All candidates are advised to apply through the official portal with a valid JAMB number before the deadline.
The University of Benin, Benin City, has announced that applications are now open for Part-Time Degree, Diploma, and Certificate courses for the 2025/2026 academic session. Application Steps for UNIBEN Undergraduate Part-Time & Sandwich Admission
Application runs from 7.00 am on 1 September 2025 until midnight on 5 October 2025. Candidates should act early to avoid last-minute rush.
- Register at a JAMB CBT Centre as a Part-Time candidate.
- With the JAMB number, visit the UNIBEN official website and select the student portal.
- Create a valid email account for registration (avoid café emails).
- Click on Part-Time Studies Applications 2025/2026.
- Fill in details marked with * and complete registration.
- A system-generated ID and password will be sent to your email.
- Log in and edit your record, upload a 1×1 coloured passport photograph with red background (JPEG only). This photo will serve as your official ID throughout your stay.
- Pay the fee of ₦19,500 via Remita with any ATM-enabled Verve or MasterCard.
- Preview, confirm, and submit your application.
Be warned, applications without a JAMB registration number will not stand. Wrong or missing photo upload leads straight to disqualification.
Screening and Admission Requirements
Candidates may not be required to sit for an entrance exam. Selection will be based on O’ Level, JUPEB, or Diploma results. Applicants are advised to check their admission status online about two weeks after the closing date.
