UNIZIK Course Registration Deadline 2025/2026

Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK) has shared the official course registration deadline for the 2025/2026 academic session.
Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, released an internal memo from the Office of the Registrar on 21st November 2025. The notice tells students when to finish online course registration and what happens after the portal closes. This guide sets out the main dates, who the directive covers, and where students can get quick help if any issue shows on their dashboard or with the portal.
Official course registration deadline at UNIZIK
The memo from the Registrar states that all students must complete course registration on or before Thursday, 18th December 2025.
After the registration portal closes on that date, it will not open again for the 2025/2026 academic session.
Students who leave registration until late risk missing courses on their timetable and may face extra stress close to exams. Early action gives time to fix small issues, such as missing courses or portal errors, before the deadline.
Who must complete course registration
The directive covers all students who have made part payment of school fees for the 2025/2026 academic session. Every student in this group is expected to finish course registration before the closing date.
This includes students who:
- Have paid part of their school fees as new students for the session
- Have paid part of their school fees as returning students for the session
Any student who has not yet made part payment is expected to settle that step first, then complete course registration as soon as possible.
What to do if courses are missing on the dashboard
Some students may see that certain courses are not available on their registration dashboard. The memo gives a clear step for those cases.
Students who notice missing or wrong courses on their portal are advised to contact their Head of Department (HOD) for help. The HOD can:
- Check the list of approved courses for the programme
- Confirm the correct course codes and levels
- Work with the relevant unit so that the correct courses show on the portal
Students are encouraged to report such issues early so that they do not run into problems close to the deadline or during exams.
Getting technical support for course registration
If a student faces a technical challenge while using the portal, such as login errors or page loading problems, the university has given a direct support channel.
For technical support, students are directed to visit the UNIZIK support portal.
Through this support portal, students can:
- Submit a support ticket for portal errors
- Describe the issue they are facing with course registration
- Receive guidance from the technical team on the next steps
Students should give clear details such as their matric number, programme, and what they were doing on the portal when the error came up. This helps the support team respond faster.
