She holds an LLM in Maritime Law and Policy and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN).
She also earned a second degree from the Faculty of Law at UNN and is currently pursuing a PhD.
These qualifications made her a strong contender for the position.
Rich Administrative Experience
Barrister Nwokike has gained vast experience throughout her career in university administration.
She started her journey as an Assistant Faculty Officer in the Faculty of Law at UNN, where she demonstrated a strong understanding of academic administration.
She later contributed significantly in various administrative roles, including the Records and Statistics unit, where she introduced innovative systems for data management.
Her leadership was further highlighted when she served as Coordinator of the Centre for Entrepreneurship and Development Research at the University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus (UNEC).
In this role, she promoted partnerships between academia and industry, advancing entrepreneurship education.
Leadership and Professional Contributions
In 2022, she became the Unit Head in the Personnel Services Unit at the Registry Department, where she enhanced human resources functions and staff welfare.
Her contributions have been widely recognised, including her active membership in professional bodies such as the Association of Nigerian University Professional Administrators (ANUPA).
