Northwest University, Kano (NWU) has issued requirements and guidelines for graduates who want to collect their certificates. Graduates must meet every condition; the process depends on complete clearance and valid documents.

Return of academic gown

NWU Kano requires all academic gowns to be returned. Each graduate must present evidence of return before certificate collection can proceed; this proof matters.

Documents graduates must present

Graduates are required to present the following documents during certificate collection:

1. Original statement of result
2. Original student identity card
3. Evidence of payment of Ten Thousand Naira (N10,000) for the certificate, verified by the Bursary Department and the Faculty
4. Proof of gown return or clearance for graduates who have not previously submitted it

A graduate who misses any of these items may face delays; the university expects full compliance.

Personal collection only

NWU Kano stated that certificates must be collected personally by the graduate. Collection by proxy or representative is not permitted; the graduate must appear and collect the document.

Certificates will be issued once

The university stated that each certificate will be issued only once. NWU Kano will not entertain requests for re-issuance if a certificate gets damaged or lost; graduates are advised to keep the certificate safe and secure.
