UCH Ibadan PGD in Nursing Admission Form 2025

The University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan, is accepting applications for the Nurse/Midwife/Public Health Nurse Tutors’ Programme for 2025.

This programme awards a Postgraduate Diploma in Nursing Education (PGDNE).

Who Can Apply

Applications are invited from individuals, Ministries of Health, training hospitals, and government agencies.

Self-sponsored candidates are also eligible to apply.

Admission Requirements

Educational Qualifications

• Candidates must have five credits in WASCE or GCE O-Level at one sitting, or six credits at not more than two sittings.
• Required subjects are English Language, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics.

Professional Qualifications and Experience

• Applicants must be registered Nurses with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.
• A first degree in Nursing is mandatory.
• Candidates must hold a current practising licence issued by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.
• At least two years of post-qualification experience is an added advantage.

Application Steps

1. Visit the University of Ibadan Postgraduate College website.
2. Sign up as a new applicant and fill in personal details.
3. Enter the displayed code in the appropriate field.
4. Check your email for login details.
5. Log in using the provided username and password.
6. Select “Faculty of Clinical Science”, then “Department of Nursing”, and choose the “PGDNE Programme”.
7. Generate an invoice and make payment of ₦18,000 using a MasterCard.

• Candidates will participate in English proficiency and interactive sessions.
• The date for these assessments will be announced later.
