Al-Muhibbah Open University admission form for 2026/2027

Al-Muhibbah Open University, AOU, has opened its admission form for the 2026/2027 academic session, and candidates can now apply for undergraduate, postgraduate and Top-Up degree programmes.

The form covers several faculties and study routes.

AOU applicants can choose from Allied Health Sciences, Computing, Management Sciences, Social Sciences, and Arabic and Islamic Studies. The right choice depends on the candidate’s result, work record and study aim; that part should not be rushed.

AOU undergraduate admission requirements

The undergraduate route is for candidates applying for a first degree, from 100 Level to 400 Level.

Applicants must have five O’Level credits, including English Language and Mathematics, gained at no more than two sittings.

Direct Entry applicants may present NCE, ND, HND or an equivalent qualification for higher-level entry, subject to review by the university.

AOU postgraduate admission requirements

Postgraduate programmes are for candidates who already hold a Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent qualification.

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s Degree with at least Second Class Lower in a relevant field. A candidate with a Third Class degree may apply with at least five years of relevant work experience.

HND holders with a Postgraduate Diploma, PGD, in a relevant field may also apply.

Each postgraduate applicant must have at least five O’Level credits, including English Language and Mathematics. An official academic transcript is also required.

AOU Top-Up Degree Programme

The Top-Up Degree Programme is for applicants who want to upgrade an old result or convert an HND to a full Bachelor’s Degree.

HND holders seeking a B.Sc. or B.A. degree equivalent can apply. Graduates with a Third-Class or Pass Degree who want to improve their class of degree may also apply.

Successful applicants will take selected core courses from 300 and 400 levels.

Graduation depends on performance across the prescribed courses.

How to apply for Al-Muhibbah Open University admission

Candidates should choose the programme type that fits their qualifications and study plan before starting the application.

To apply, follow the steps below:

  1. Visit the Al-Muhibbah Open University website.
  2. Click “Apply Now” or go straight to the AOU application account portal.
  3. Complete the electronic application form.
  4. Click the link for application fee payment and make payment.
  5. Select the programme of choice.
  6. Cross-check the application form.
  7. Click the “Submit” button.

After admission is given, the university will send an email to the applicant. The admitted candidate can then log in to the account and download the admission letter.
