The official summary of results from NUC shows that AUM had a clean outcome across the four programmes assessed; no programme on the list missed the required standard.

The accredited programmes are:

That list covers Health Sciences and Technology, two areas named in the school’s statement.

What the NUC Result Means for AUM

The result shows that the assessed programmes met NUC standards during the October/November 2025 accreditation exercise.

AUM linked the outcome to its academic delivery, qualified faculty and standard facilities, especially across Health Sciences and Technology.

One detail stands out. With the new result, the total number of fully accredited programmes at Al-Ansar University Maiduguri has risen to nineteen.

Acting Vice Chancellor Reacts to the Accreditation Result

The Acting Vice Chancellor, Prof. Fanna Inna Abdulrahman, described the 100% result as a sign of the university’s focus on quality education and graduate training.

“This 100% success reflects our commitment to quality education and to producing graduates equipped to drive national development,” Prof. Abdulrahman said.

She also noted that the result brings the number of programmes with full accreditation at the university to nineteen.

Founder and Staff Credited for the Outcome

Prof. Abdulrahman credited the result to the vision of the Founder and President, Dr Mohammed Kyari Dikwa, mni, along with the work of the University Management and Staff.

The school also extended special praise to Dr Mohammed Kyari Dikwa, mni, Founder and President of Al-Ansar Foundation, for his vision and steady support.

That support, according to the statement, has helped build the base for AUM’s growth and success.

AUM’s Next Step After the NUC Accreditation

With this result, AUM says it will keep strengthening its place as a rising centre of academic excellence.

The university also restated its aim to produce competent graduates who can contribute meaningfully to national development.

For students watching Health Sciences and Technology programmes at AUM, this NUC accreditation result gives a clear update: all four assessed programmes received Full status until 2030.
