Mustapha Abdullahi Energy Leadership Fellowship 2026 and N10 Million Grant

Applications are now open for the Mustapha Abdullahi Energy Leadership Fellowship 2026. The fellowship is an initiative of the APC National Youth Wing and is presented as a fully funded, residential programme for emerging leaders in the energy sector.

The fellowship is designed to identify and support exceptional young people in the sector. It brings together engineering science, strategic policy, and global climate finance through a curriculum delivered by industry veterans and top policymakers.

What the fellowship offers

The programme goes beyond classroom learning; it also tests executive capacity through tactical field inspections and a national crisis simulation.

The fellowship ends with the Mustapha Abdullahi Award for Best Projects. This award provides immediate seed funding for the most scalable youth-led projects aimed at sustainable energy development across the continent.

Grant for best projects

The organisers state that N10,000,000 will be given as grant funding to young people ready to drive the clean energy transition.
