FUMHSK Fee Deadline: What Students Must Do

Federal University of Medical and Health Sciences, Kwale, Delta State, has issued a final reminder on the payment of school charges and hostel accommodation fees for the 2025/2026 first semester. The university says the deadline has been extended to Tuesday, 7 April 2026; students who fail to pay by then face stated penalties.

The notice tells all students that the final deadline for payment of school charges and hostel accommodation fees has been moved to Tuesday, 7 April 2026.

This applies to the 2025/2026 first semester. The message is direct, and the School has framed it as a final notice.

What happens after the deadline

FUMHSK says the names of defaulters will be published and pasted on notice boards in the school and hostels after the deadline.

The notice also lists extra sanctions for students who do not complete payment.

Students who have not fully paid their charges will not be allowed to sit for the forthcoming first semester examinations. The university adds that no examination passes will be issued to defaulters.

Portal deactivation

Access to student portals for course registration and result checking will be suspended for students who fail to pay.

The university directs students to complete all payments and verify their receipts at the Bursary Department on or before the close of business on Friday, 10 April 2026.

That part of the notice stands out; payment alone is not the full step. Receipt verification is also required.

Students who left the hostel without payment

FUMHSK says this notice also applies to students who stayed in the hostel and packed out without paying hostel accommodation fees.

The message leaves little room for doubt; the notice covers current students and those with unpaid hostel fees after leaving the hostel.

The university has asked students to treat this as a final notice. With the deadline and penalties now stated in plain terms, affected students are expected to act within the dates given by the school.
