The position of Vice-Chancellor at the University of Jos will become vacant on 1 December 2026.

The Governing Council approved the advertisement under the University of Jos Act, CAP U8, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, as amended by the Universities (Miscellaneous Provisions) (Amendment) Act, 2003 and the Conditions and Scheme of Service for Senior Staff.

Applicants must have a current teaching and research position in a recognised university of equal standing with the University of Jos.
