McU NUC Accreditation: 10 Programmes Get Full Approval

McPherson University has received full accreditation from the National Universities Commission for 10 undergraduate programmes.

The approval came after NUC teams visited the campus in October and November 2025.

The formal notice came through a letter signed by Engr. Abraham Chundusu, the NUC Director of Accreditation.

He signed the letter on behalf of the Commission’s Executive Secretary.

NUC specialist teams carried out the review during campus visits held in October and November 2025, and the outcome placed 10 undergraduate programmes of McPherson University on full accreditation status.

The undergraduate programmes granted full accreditation are:

5. Marketing
6. Public Health
7. History and Diplomatic Studies
8. Information Technology
9. Biotechnology
10. Economics

The full accreditation status remains valid for five years.

The Vice-Chancellor of McPherson University, Professor Francis Igbasan, shared the news with the university community.
